NDLAMBE MUNICIPALITY

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING PARKING AREAS ADJACENT TO THE SEA BEACHES, THE
CURFEW AND FIREWORKS

Members of the public and residents throughout the Ndlambe area are required to take
note and respect these requirements forthwith in the interests of a combined commitment
against a common enemy.
Ndlambe Municipality has the power to restrict access to certain public areas for reasons
of public health and safety.
The Municipality has noted that certain residents within its jurisdiction have already
respected the request to stay away from all parking areas adjacent to any sea beach.
The Municipality might find it necessary to exercise the power to formally restrict access in
the absence of full and immediate voluntary cooperation from the entire Ndlambe
community.
The Municipality appeal to all community organisations to order all people from all
population groups within its jurisdiction to refrain from driving, walking, running, cycling,
parking or being on any public parking area adjacent to the sea beaches whilst the
beaches themselves remain closed.
In respect of fireworks, the Municipality has likewise insisted that no person shall use or
discharge any fireworks of any nature during this festive season.
Similarly, the Municipality justifiably expects all residents to respect the national 10pm
curfew.
Ndlambe urge therefore all members of the public to adhere to this notice which is
regarded as clearly necessary to limit the spread of Covid-19 and to ensure that all
population groups, regardless of race or political affiliation, universally apply the required
level of self-discipline against the pandemic which itself knows no boundaries.
