NOTICE is hereby given that the Ndlambe Traffic Department (DLTC) in Port Alfred will be open as from 8 July 2020 after all protocols and procedures relating to COVID-19 have been addressed.
As from 8 July 2020, the Opening hours for the public will be from 08h00 – 14h00. The following services will be rendered at the Port Alfred DLTC Traffic Department:

1. Motor vehicle registration and licensing (Monday to Friday)
2. Driving license renewals (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
3. PrDP applications (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

Learner’s and Driver’s license bookings will be Tuesdays and Thursdays – as from Tuesday 14 July 2020.
We ask the public to be patient as there will be a phased-in staggered approach relating to staff.
Expect delays but be assured that as a caring municipality we want to assure you that service delivery is very important to our community and our customers but at the same time we want to contain the spread of the COVID-19 disease as far as possible.

  2. Grade 1CEPE bids must submit a Curriculum Vitae of a competent person who will be a foreman/ supervisor for the duration of the contract and must have the following requirements:

THORNHILL LINK SERVICES PROJECT STEERING COMMITTEE ESTABLISHMENT MEETING

The Ndlambe Local Municipality has planned for the designs and construction of the Thornhill link services. Currently the municipality is in the initiative to establish the new Project Steering Committee (PSC). The contractor has been appointed and the handover process has been finalised. It is therefore essential the community to be presented at large in an attempt to elect the suitable candidates for proper completion of this project.

DRAFT ANNUAL REPORT AND AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS (AFS) 2018/2019

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 127 (5)(a) of the Municipal Finance Management Act 56 of 2003, and section 21A of the Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000 that the Audited Financial Statements and Draft Annual Report for 2018/2019 financial period has been prepared by Ndlambe Municipality and subsequently audited by the Auditor-General. The document is available for public comments and inspection in all municipal administrative units around Ndlambe municipality. These are Alexandria, Bathurst, Cannon Rocks, Kenton on Sea, Port Alfred and Seafield as well as in the Libraries and Ndlambe Municipality’s website (www.ndlambe.gov.za). The Annual Financial Statement are appended to the Annual Report together with Auditor General’s findings.
